Aug 16, 2018 · The 1000 Islands Gananoque Ultimate Shootout & Poker Run is set for Sept. 7-9. There are plans for a Brockville card stop on Sept. 8 as part of the Gananoque-based run. The new event serves as the finale of Poker Runs America’s 30th anniversary season.

Aug 16, 2019 · Brockville – The 33rd annual 1000 Islands Poker Run will set out from Kingston this Saturday, August 17th with card stops in Gananoque, Johnstown and a lunch stop in Brockville. More than 80 boats are expected to participate in this year’s poker run. The City of Kingston is once again hosting this event organized by Poker Runs America. Enjoy!

Each summer, the 1000 Islands region of Canada, which stretches from The Bay of Quinte to Prescott, Ontario, entertains thousands of visitors from around the world, as well as locals who know the beauty of the area. But one event in August stands out as the premier attraction for performance boaters, the 1000 Islands Poker Run Kingston, which is staged by Poker Runs America/ Powerboating Canada the Ontario Ministry of Tourism.

1000 Islands Gananoque Poker Run is an event in which participants race between five checkpoints along the St. Lawrence River and drawing a playing card at each stop. The objective for the participants is to have the best poker hand at the end of the event; the person with the best hand at the end of the run is the winner!
